  • On October 2, 2008, Hickory Construction joined in the ground breaking of the new Art Circle Public Library in Crossville, Tennessee. This 30,000 square foot facility is being built downtown and scheduled to open in June, 2009. The new two story library, designed by McCartey Holsaple McCartey Architects of Knoxville, will feature locally quarried stone.
  • Construction is underway on the new Westmorland Cosmetic and Family Dentistry facility in Newport, Tennessee. Hickory is managing the 4200 square foot building, designed by Knoxville based Brewer Ingram Fuller Architects, Inc., for Drs. Micah and Christel Westmorland and is scheduled for completion in March, 2009.
  • In July, Hickory teamed with designer Moll Anderson to build a backyard recreation area for a Knoxville family with special needs. Hickory managed the backyard makeover that was highlighted on the nationally syndicated television show, The Doctors. Click here to see before and after photos. Within three days, Hickory renovated the yard to include a large deck and play area for the children.
  • Hickory recently completed the exterior restoration of Anderson Hall on the Maryville College campus. Additionally on campus, Hickory is wrapping-up renovations to the International House.
