New residential construction and remodels are keeping Hickory busy In the Construction Zone.  Plus, there are commercial remodels to wrap up, and an office building still in the works.

  • Residential projects have kept Hickory busy this spring.  Crews are putting the finishing touches on two custom homes in west Knoxville, while a third is under construction.  In Walland, construction is well underway on a new custom home, and a second home is nearing completion.   Hickory also has various residential remodeling projects underway.
  • Construction continues on the new two-story office building for Knoxville’s Community Development Corporation.  In addition to KCDC offices, there will be office space to lease.
