Hickory Completes Clayton-Bradley Academy in Four Months

The new Clayton-Bradley Academy was ready for the doors to open to students on JulyCB1
19, just four short months after Hickory broke ground. This was no small feat considering the amount of rain this
spring and summer, but Hickory is known for its ability to deliver.

Construction included six modular buildings for a Science laboratory, tea
cher’s offices and classrooms. Additionally, Hickory built an 8,600 sq. ft. administration building which includes administration offices, a health clinic, a large multi-purpose area with stage complete with theatrical lighting and sound system, and storage areas. Each of the six modular buildings are 28×76 ft., for which Hickory laid the foundation, completed the exterior finishes and the roof. These eco-friendly state-of-the art classroomCB22-300x218 units connect to the administration building by a five foot covered sidewalk. Hickory also completed all related site work including roads, utilities and parking.

The Clayton-Bradley Academy chose Hickory as its contractor for its reputation of quality, commitment to budget, and proven ability to complete projects in a timely manner. Hickory has been retained for several ongoing projects, including a soccer field, play fields and basketball court.
