Hickory Contributes to Home Improvement Project for Sevier County

It might not have been considered an “extreme home makeover” by television standards, but the recent repairs and upgrades made by several area ministries and businesses to one Seymour home certainly had a major impact on its owner.

The Tennessee Star Journal recently published a story about the much-needed renovations to Lois Maiden’s home on Valley View Road. In the article, Hickory Construction was mentioned for its contribution to the effort, which was funded exclusively by donations from churches and private companies.

“Being involved in community-driven efforts like this is just part of what we’re about at Hickory,” said company President Burke Pinnell. “We believe in helping our neighbors, and it was rewarding to be able to assist Ms. Maiden when she needed it.”
